Alex Decory is a Huddersfield-born songwriter and multi-instrumentalist whose catchy melodies and introspective lyricism are earning him a fierce reputation for delivering captivating and upbeat performances. Blending a plethora of genres together, such as jazz, folk, and blues, Alex had a wide range of inspiration, from early 1960s and 1970s artists like Bob Dylan and Labi Siffre to more recent artists like Sting, Jack Johnson, and Joy Crookes. The result? Uncompromising, catchy and heartfelt songs that take you on an emotional rollercoaster, which by the end leaves you wanting to go again. 

​​After moving to Manchester in 2023,  Alex has become a well-known musician playing venues such as Academy 3 and YES Pink room with various projects, and is now stepping into the hot seat as a frontman, singer, and songwriter. His potential and reputation precede him, and he is rapidly making a name for himself as a “songwriter with potential ability far beyond his years” and having “potential to make a real mark in his field”. Already played a headline show within less than a  year of performing his own music, Alex’s trajectory is on a steep incline and not something to be missed. ​​​​
